This dress was great for the first few wears, but after being washed twice it became a shapeless mess. The fabric didn't hold its shape well at all--the seat became loose, saggy, sad and droopy. The sleeves shrank and became several inches too short. The hem began unravelling,the button placket bubbled and the button holes became so frayed they won't hold the buttons. My buttons came undone just from sitting down (at work, no less!). I followed the care instructions exactly--I washed it on delicate and reshaped/lay flat to dry. This dress was not a good buy. I paid about $100+tax/shipping. That's about $30 per wear... NOT a good buy :/

I love this dress so much I've worn it to work almost every week since I received it in January. I got the Charcoal Sprig which goes better with my coloring than the Nut Sprig. I've worn it with boots and flats. The lightweight fabric is perfect for SoCal winters. I can see myself wearing this until end of June as it does not get hot until after the June gloom. I ordered both the 10R and 12R, and kept the 10R (I'm 5'3, 165 lbs). The sleeve and dress lengths were surprisingly perfect for my petite frame. Hit slightly above the knee which is how I like it for this style. I do find the buttons rather small when fastening, but at the same time see that larger buttons would detract from the overall design. Also, thought I already reviewed this in January, but didn't see it included so writing one again. A 5-star dress is definitely worth talking about!

This dress doesn't look like much on the hanger, but fits and looks so great on! It is comfortable and flattering. Love the long slim sleeves and the overall cut. I wear it with my own leather belts (not a big fan of the self fabric belt). Can use it for casual wear with or without layering a tee, but also found it looks polished for work with a collared button down shirt underneath with heels, tights and a dressier belt. No wrinkles after washing and hang drying, which is great. I hope Boden brings this same dress back next year in fresh colors and patterns, it's a classic.

I am considered a 2 by the US brands that I wear (JCrew, Ann Taylor, etc) and got a 4 with this dress. It is pretty comfortable and casual fit on me, and with the belt, I manage to define the waist a bit.

I put the dress through the dryer, and it came out decent enough for casual wear, even though the label says not to dry.

I am tired of wearing cardigans over all my sleeveless dresses, and am always on a quest for cute dresses with sleeves. This dress fits me so well! Length is appropriate for work (I work with teenage boys)yet it is not frumpy. I am very happy with this dress!

I'm a teacher, and this durable dress works great in the classroom! One of my students even complimented me on it. My only complaint is that the bottom button keeps coming unbuttoned. It's long enough that there is no risk of showing too much skin, but it was a tad bothersome to me.
