I bought the blue and when it hit the sale rack I bought the white. This is a well-cut dress, with a thoughful approach to wearing it daily: washable and ined in cotton. Even when it wrinkles it looks great--husband said so--and I love the hit of color around the neck. I'm curvy and it shows off shape without looking... well, hoochie, and with a cardigan or a jacket i can even get away wearing on Fridays at work.

I am going on a Caribbean cruise in december and was looking for a dress that could double as a cover up and a wearable outfit dress. This dress hit the nail on the head and, because of it being a fun cruise, I purchased it in the white with red embroidery on the top. I am a 5'1, 125-130 lb, apple shape and this dress couldn't be cut better for me (aside from coming in a petite length that is). Absolutely stunning and completely suitable for my purposes. Cute, fun, couldn't be any happier with this buy.

Though only 5'5", I bought the blue in 4L --I believe this dress runs big as I usually need a 6--and have been stopped by two women to ask me where I got it. The longer length makes it easy for me to bend without thinking about flashing someone as it comes to my knees. It's been washed thrice, packed mercilessly and is wearing fabulously. At the sale price this dress is a no-brianer as I can see myself wearing it all summer long. The blue in the neckline is a great accent and I like the fact that it's "faux" V-neck. I did wear it with a purply-blue belt to accentuate my waist, along with the Boden purple sandals from last summer. With a cobalt blue cardiagan--the "it" color of the season--this has transitioned nicely into the Indian Summer/Fall. I wish it came in a few more punchy colors...Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

I loved the embroidered neckline of this dress and I love linen so I figured why not. Unfortunately, unless you are the same body type as the model (slender, small breasts and hips) I would say proceed with caution. I'm curvy in shape (small waist compared to hips) but in the 8-10 size range for Boden (10-12 for other retailers) and this has no waist and was boxy in the top; in short, it did nothing for my assets and actually hung weirdly on my top half. Also, the embroidery is not quite as impressive in person--the scallops are zigzag stitch rather than fully saturated color.

The reviews for the dress appeared to be initially favorable and my sister and I bought the Rosemary color dress. The model display too appeared promising. I am 5.1 with a petite build. This dress was not only faded looking, but the applique around tne neck that looks so enticing on the screen is shoddily tailored. Before the price was reduced to the [$]that it is now, we paid nearly [$] more and it was not good value for the price. I (and my sister too) plan to return this dress as I do not want to wear a new dress that looks like it is a few years old and has gone through quite a few laundry cycles. I am sorry to have to do so.

Ordered this in my usual 4R in the green--perfect fit for my 5'6" 125 pounds! Didn't have to alter a thing. Loved it so much bought it in the lighter blue too. Lining is perfect without being "bunchy." Neck detail lays flat nicely. Overall one of my fave Boden purchses this season.

The color combination of the olive and pale aqua detail on this shift is gorgeous. The dress is fully lined and it hangs beautifully on. Yes, it is linen and it does wrinkle, but that is part of wearing linen and the pros definitely out weigh the cons. So pleased with this dress, might be my favorite Boden purchase ever!

I bought this dress to wear to work in a casual, but stylish environment, and it is perfect. The dress fit perfectly. I am between sizes, but for Boden I always size down. This was so exception. It has enough shape to be flattering, but isn't so fitted as to show every flaw. The linen didn't seem especially prone to wrinkling because of the lining & the weight. Will be a regular staple in my closet.

A lovely dress. I ordered my usual 6. The hips and bust fit well but am having it altered at the waist to hug the curves a bit better. The quality is very nice.
