I was excited to see this online, as I thought it would be a fun dress to wear on casual outings. I'm 5'4", size 10R, somewhat large-busted and about 143 pounds and this dress just looked boxy and frumpy on me. It is also cut about an inch too short for my taste, and did not hit at a flattering point in the leg. But there was about an inch of hem and it would have been easy to lower the hem, had the dress been flattering...
The hip area is cut much too large so it just sort of hangs and makes one's bottom look larger than it actually is. The big floral pattern did not help, either. But the tan colored dress option appeared too drab (a lot less fun to wear)...I also did nto want to order it to try out, since you must pay seven dollars to mail this one back.
This dress may work for someone taller and slimmer than me. But if you are busty and on the short side, this dress is not for you....

I bought a size up thinking with linen it would not have much give - it is true to size. Fit wonderfully - a little roomy, but that's ok. Put a little cami underneath - wore it to work the day after I got it. Couldn't wait!
I would DEFINITELY order other clothing from Boden - this was my first purchase.

I love this dress- glad I got it on sale! The fit is very nice- I am more of a pear shape. The fabric feels substantial- great quality overall. The colors are true to the model photo. It's very comfortable! I hope they will have this style again next year! The side zipper worked well and the length hit just above my knee (I'm 5'6").

Cute dress, but it's lined and a bit warm-ish for an Arkansas summer so I will probably wait to wear it when it cools down a little. The fit is very flattering on my size 10/12 figure. I agree with a previous poster about the top being a bit revealing. I may wear a cami under in the fall and it would be fine. Overall it's a cute dress though!

My favorite Boden spring/summer purchase ever! I bought the french blue in 8R, my usual size and it fit like a charm. This dress has a beautiful shape to it. The detailing at the waist is very distinctive and lovely. I love the three quarter length sleeves too. The lining makes the dress very high quality - it washes well and needs minimal ironing (compared to other linen products). Believe me, I know about ironing and I don't have a dryer.
I bought the matching blue cami to go with this dress. I don't know how else it could be worn.

This is a lovely dress. The petite fits me almost perfectly; I might have liked it to be a little more snug at the waistband, but I can't complain. The detailing is pretty. The French blue is a lovely color, and the fabric feels cool and fresh, even with the lining. I wish it was short-sleeved so I could wear it now for summer, but it will be perfect when the weather cools down. I like the high waist (because I'm short, 5'1", and high-waisted) and the pretty neckline.

Im petite, so I ususally try to stay away from large patterns, but I think this one works. I got the blue one, and I think it has a cute, slightly Asian feel to it. It will be good for summers in the Northwest where I live, because it never really gets too hot here - so the lining and longer sleeves will be appreciated.

The dress was confortable. I liked it. I could use it in warm or cool weather. I just needed to watch the neckline, you could see inside to my bra and more when i sat. I kept having to make sure the top was closed. I liked the length, but it was at knee or lower, I am short and heavy and this dressed worked well for me.
