I was eagerly looking forward to receiving this dreess. I love jersey knit dresses and I favor a higher neckline. But I was very sad when I put it on because it is so SHORT. The model is shown wearing a dress that must be a long size. Mine hits well above the knee and I am not particularly tall (5' 6"). Other than that, I love the dress.
It is my fault for not checking the garment measurements before I ordered it. I should not have gone by the photo. Had I known, I would have ordered a 4L instead of a 4R. Now the 4L is gone. (Boden, please consider making a 2 long! And if a model is shown wearing the long version, please tell us. I don't mind seeing both looks--I just want to know. )

For reference, I'm 5'6", size 6 hourglass - and this dress hit me above the knee. Also, the print I purchased was much bright in person (apple floating floral). The fit was awkward; too tight across the hips (unlike most of my Boden favorites) and too high on the neck line.
Best on the shorter, non-curvy gals out there.

I am back to working full time and decided to update my wardrobe. I teach school and favor comfortable yet stylish dresses. I decided to try Boden for the first time and I'm impressed! This dress is my favorite out of the several I purchased so far. The material is soft and drapes well. It shows off my assets and hides the flaws. I am 5'3" and 130 pounds with curves and ordered 8R. I got the blue circle design. I only wish more colors were available in my size at the sale price.

I love this dress! Not only perfect for summer, but fall & spring too. I purchased the Apple Floating Floral and pair it with the Navy Crinkle Knit Cardigan (a perfect match, and both on clearance). Worn with gray tights and black boots, I now have my favorite fall outfit. The fit is very flattering, the fabric is gorgeous and the colors are uplifting and cheerful. Just what I need to counterbalance this gray gloomy Seattle day! Back now to purchase the Airforce Floating Floral.

This dress is fabulous. The fit and drape of the fabric is beyond gorgeous. I loved it. It made me look taller and slimmer, what more could you ask for?!?!? I especialy like the higher neckline. It was stylish and comfortable. The arm openings were just the right size. I didn't worry about straps or anything showing. Loved the empire waist, too. I will be ordering more of this dress. I purchased the Sapling color in an 18L. Don't change a thing!

I bought the poppy ripple and love it! The color is a little more of a "coral" red, and very beautiful. I just had a baby a few months ago, and appreciate its slimming effect. The fabric is also so soft and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great dress that I can't wait to wear on an anniversary trip! Fabulous cut and the pattern helps disguise any imperfections. I love the neckline on this too - very flattering. I'm a 6-8 adn got an 8 in the Apple floating floral pattern as it's jersey material and it fits great. If they go down in price again, I'll get another - [$] is a bit much - I got it 20% off that.

I was planning to use this as a summer dress for my vacation at the beach and ordered this in both the sea blue and poppy ripple color. I was aware of the "pregnancy puff" in the front of the dress from other reviewers but was hoping it wouldn't be an issue for me. Alas, it was. If you're bustier (but not larger than a C-cup), it probably won't be a problem. However, since I'm fairly small-chested and flat from a side profile, this dress just didn't work for me. Oddly enough, the pregnancy puff wasn't as bad in the poppy ripple, so it might just depend on the gathering of each individual dress.
Other than that, the material was great, and I really loved the print. If it weren't for the unflattering gathers on the front of the dress (for me), I would have kept the dresses.
