I put this dress on a couple of times to think about whether to keep it. The fit is great and the fabric is pretty. The dress is well made but I did not like the low V back. I like to wear my dresses for work or social and if I wear to work will have to wear a sweater or something to cover the back. I did like the quality and the lining (a must in my book) and ultimately I decided to keep it! By-the-way, I love the length as it hits me just below the knees and looks very elegant.

The moment I pulled the dress out of the box, I feel in love with the color and texture of the fabric and could't wait to try it on. Love the underskirt too. The dress fits well and the rounded shoulders make the fit very feminine. Unfortunately, the dress was too long for my slightly under 5.4" frame (well below the knees), so I had to send it back. Too bad, would have been a keeper for years to come!

The dress looks so lovely on the model on the website, but once I received it, I was so disappointed. The fabric feels beautiful, but the pattern is somewhat abstract and not pretty. I thought maybe it would look better on, but once I tried it on, it looked like something my mother would wear. It fit perfectly, but was not flattering, either in the top and the length was rather long.

This dress is a dream. The fit is perfect. I'm a size 12 and normally would not think of showing off my arms, but the shape of the shoulders and the slimming effect of the waist make my arms look good. It has a nice swing and drape to the skirt. Easy to wear with the full slip or without. I'm 5'3" and the dress hits mid knee. Beautiful timeless dress that is worth the investment.

I usually wear Boden 2 or 4 and bought this dress in size 4. Boy, it is so tight on me!! It was so difficult to zip it up. The fabric looked beautiful but the shepe was very unflattering on me. If you are as thin as the Boden models perhaps you can pull it off but I am avarage thin (5'5" and 118 lbs) and I could not pull it off. [...]

I usually fit well in a Boden dress size 8. This dress fit OK, but the waist sat well above my normal waistline. It might work better on someone with a smaller bust. Armholes were also too generous for me. Just an unusual fit. So sad because the fabric and skirt are beautiful. Will have to go back.
