I loved the "idea" of the jacket. It was classic and made very well. But the design with no collar, was un impressive at best once I put it on. (insert sadface) If the collar was maybe a 2 inch mandarin style? It could have given it a little more structure to it. The picture in the magazine & online with the scarf kept this missing collar "hidden" So when I got it in the mail nad tried it on I realized it was missing that detail I would have liked.
I'm 5'6" 34DD and average weight the jacket fit fine with plenty of arm length to it. But the missing collar made me send it back....

Snapped this jacket up late in its run when it caught my eye in the mid-season sale. Definitely a good deal at that price. I ordered both the 6 & 8 and ultimately kept the 8. Odd, since I have 2 other Boden jackets (rain & winter) in 6 that fit fine. The photog jacket in 6 had too short sleeves and tight shoulders. Again, odd, because I have neither broad shoulders nor long arms. The 8 gapes a bit in the chest but I'm not so vain to be bothered by it. I also originally tried the jacket in navy but the stitching on it matches and so it's more dull. Next year Boden, add some fun contrast, fix the fit issues, and it's likely I'll get another color--maybe in black? or drab green? Oh, FYI, the "sage" is really more of a khaki.

Great looking jacket. Hits right at the hip. My only complaint is that the pockets are a little small and awkwardly placed.

This jacket is the perfect blend of casual and chic -- it is incredibly durable and well made. It's great for casual wear during the daytime (with jeans) or pairs well with night outfits (skirts and other fun springwear). It's a great fit if you get the right size, and is perfect to wear when a peacoat is too heavy but still too chilly at nights for just cardigans.

Beware, the jacket does run large, so I would order a size down from the fitted measurements according to the website. I had to exchange mine for a size smaller, and it fit perfectly.

I plan to take this jacket abroad this summer as nights will be cool and possibly some days. It is nicely lined in a fresh print and it just is incredibly soft. Great price, too.

This jacket is trim and tailored in fit. The sleeves are slightly narrower than comparable blazers on Boden (for instance the Blenheim blazer) It fits me well but would probably be too tight in the chest for more buxom women. (I am 5 ft 6 size 12 and 38B)
The fabric is a slightly weathered denim, so I will use it for casual wear.

I use this jacket pretty much every day. I wear it to work, shopping,and dinner. It is a great casual jacket that you can dress up or down. It is extremely comfortable

This jacket is serious jacket. I Like the design and color but shoulder feels too tight for me if I chose bigger size, it 'll be too boxy around my waist. Sadly returned back.

I just wrote my review without checking the size I ordered in this jacket. I had read the reviews and did order down a size. I usually wear a Boden 6 but ordered the 4 and it is just right.

I got this in my usual Boden size 6 and it fits. I got the navy to use in place of a jean jacket that I gave away. It's good for spring or fall when the weather is a little cooler.

It's a good navy and feels stylish without standing out too much. It won't make others jealous and I feel put together. Excellent.
