I was wary of the peplum shape back in the days of yore in the 90s. How silly was I as a teen, now hitting prime, I embrace this cut that emphasizes my small waist and curves with such a fun and happy color. I can wear this anywhere, pending accessories. So happy to relive this look. Cheers!

The cut of this jacket was not at all flattering. I really wanted to like it and I think with a substantial amount of tailoring it might have worked but I wasn't willing to invest that much extra money into it. The quality is good but not as good as the Elgin jacket which I also ordered and was very pleased with.

I bought this in both yellow and blue...the yellow makes a terrific statement piece! i did find the yellow a little larger then the blue even though i bought both in size 10....but both were a little large for me and therefore, the yellow was even larger, but nothing a seamstress can't fix, but still....i really do love these as accent pieces though, great buys!

As others have mentioned the shoulders fit oddly. Also the peplum gather is only on the sides and does not wrap around to the back. This caused an odd shape at the hip. Too bad because I like the material and quality. Returned.

As I exited the suburban train station on the way to work, a co-commuter asked another as she looked at me, "Isn't she lovely? What a gorgeous outfit." I matched this jacket with a black sleeveless dress, petite yellow straw handbag, black pumps, and gold, sliver, and black jewelry. I did a repeat at church topping off the outfit with a black and white staw turndown hat. Received lots of compliments on this jacket.

As others have said, this jacket really doesn't have much shape and is not a flattering fit. It's too bad, because I thought it looked really cute on the model.

i've ordered a lot of stuff from boden -- but this is the only thing ive ever had to return -- theres a reason why the model is hiding the peplum seam of the jacket it is completely unflattering.

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of this jacket in spite of all the negative reviews. Well, the reviews are warranted. The cut and fit of this jacket are just strange. While the shoulder area fit fine, it was very large in the bodice and waist. I expect a peplum to be very fitted, not loose and baggy. I had big plans for this jacket, but I had to return it.

I love this jacket. I wanted to add a peplum design to my wardrobe that still felt like a classic addition that I could wear for years. I bought the navy and it pairs beautifully with jeans, pencil skirts, and sheath dresses.

This was a cute jacket but the fabric was heavier than I expected. I live in a warm climate and didn't feel like I could wear it enough to justify keeping. Better for someone that has a true spring season.
