I purchased this in both black & creme to compare. I decided to keep the creme because I think it showcases the buttons more ( the real highlight of this jacket) , whereas with the black the buttons blend in more & are less noticed. The lining is high quality. I like the cuts at the back. The jacket is cozy. The texture is slightly scratchy... not a soft cotton kind of feel. Overall pleased.

This jacket is classic and has beautiful buttons. It is warm enough to wear on cool evenings over dresses and looks equally wonderful with jeans and heels. If you have a large chest you might want to go up a size on this jacket!

So frustrated--this is my second attempt with this jacket--10 was too big and 8 fits, but oddly--the shoulders make these little points over my actual shoulders, like there is heavy '40s shoulder padding, but there isn't. I am guessing the raglan sleeve styling and the cut of the shoulder are to blame. Also, the waist doesn't nip in as flatteringly as on the model--an absolute must for me with those huge decorative snap covers. All in all, I would have felt funny wearing it and it's going back. You can kind of see the issue with the shoulders in the white jacket photo.

This is a great jacket! I bought it in both white and purple and love them both. I am 5'2" and the would normally like a petite, but this jacket is fitted so it works. The sleeves are a teensy bit long for me, but would probably be fine for most people.

The fabric is heavy so it can serve as outerwear too.

I love the floral buttons, which make it so special.

Works with jeans or skirts. My only wish....pockets!

It is well made but somehow it did not fit me properly. And it looks a little bit old style - I got the black one. Maybe in the vanilla white it would be a different story.

I ordered this jacket thinking it was blue, when it arrived I was surprised because it's a deep purple. I will keep the jacket because it can be worn with other outfits. However, I am disappointed since there is a big difference between the colors blue and purple.

I ordered this jacket in the blue and could hardly wait for it to come. I was so disappointed when it arrived, the jacket is NOT blue instead it is a deep purple. This is the third item I've received from boden that wasn't as advertised. Otherwise, the jacket is great.
