I really appreciate the classic quality of this outdoor jacket. The plaid is a beautiful rich, complex color combo. The wool is first class. The jacket's style is not edgy, forward, cute, with unexpected twists that I usually assocate with Boden. But instead it is just darned handsome, sharp, tasteful, useful, a forever classic piece for the ages. Love the Moon mills fabrics! Fit true to Boden size, a bit loose as opposed to fitted.

This is a beautifully made, classic tweed jacket that is warm enough for chilly spring or autumn days and with a lovely printed lining inside. Well worth the price! I do agree with others about the shoulders that jut out slightly, though by carefully removing the shoulder pads inside, the fit looked much better. I'm between a size 6 and 8 in blazers and coats (145 lbs. and am 5'9" in height) and found the size 8 to fit perfectly.

I now have two -same coat - my statement piece(forever). I sew- can not even make this. Yes-cute for letting your man know you'll help keep the fire going with his help.. meant to show we love the outdoors..but keep looking at me - not the sunset. P.S. I also have their other jacket... with the other look ..drop dead gorgeous..buy this one- he likes it best!

People people, this isn't supposed to be a fitted jacket: it's a drop-dead gorgeous piece of outerwear that's supposed to look like classic British tweed--which is what it is. Sumptuous Moon tweed in a gorgeous color combo ( I went for the green-- YUM), and a *killer* deal on sale-- I'm still reeling from how cheaply I stole this from Boden-- with amazing tailoring touches like interior seam piping, grosgrain, and a beautiful London-inspired print for the lining. The ONLY fault I have-- spots on the sun darlings-- is that I would ixne any padding in the shoulders (because I sew I'll be removing it myself), and add side-entry to the pockets which are hard to dig into from above. But this won't stop me from wearing this piece into the ground. It's pretty, pretty pretty and reminds me again why I buy Boden.
PLEASE keep this Moon tweed coming!! It rocks the Casbah...I already have five pieces and just keep needing more. Thank you Boden !!

This is a great plaid jacket with a unique lining that gives it a touch of flare. It can be dressed up with trousers and a scarf or you could easily wear it with jeans. I have worn it to a meeting and to the office. The sleeves are long, which I love as I am tall with long arms. I would appreciate a bit more fitting through the mid section and a bit more room in the armpit for a perfect fit on me.

This jacket is wonderful! I was hesitant to buy this at full price, but when the price came down, I went for it. This is definitely now one of my nicer quality outerwear pieces. I may remove the padding from the shoulders though, as I'm already pretty broad in the shoulders. Love the two closure options--snap buttons and a zip up. The inside material was quite the surprise--a very cute British print. It never gets seriously cold in the Deep South, but this jacket will do it for the rare chilly and windy days here.

I wanted to love this jacket and tried it twice in two differernt sizes. No matter what, this jacket just doesn't work. The sleeves are long and the lining goes almost to end of the wrist so that cuff cannot be turned up. There are no slash or side pockets but only patch pockets with snap. Shoulders seem oddly out of sync w/rest of sizing -- maybe too wide. Odd fit -- doesn't work for me. Gorgeous plaid tweed & would have LOVED it had the cuffs been turnable & shoulders in proportion.

I really like this jacket, it's well made and smart looking. I usually wear a size 10 but the 10 in this was too bulky looking for me. The 8 fits but is a little tight in the chest area. The fit on both from the shoulders and chest area was just a little off to me, not sure how to describe it. But I kept the size 8 and I'm sure that I will get lots of wear out of it. The lining is fabulous!
