Love this jacket! It is a little edgy and and with a scarf change it goes from day to night easily. Perfect for the fall days or when you don't want a bulky puffy coat. I don't mind that the belt is tie only (no buckle). It looks good open or tied.

It's so nice to get a Boden jacket that has plenty of arm room! The belt is a nice touch to help shape the waist. I like that there is the option to either zip or snap the front closed. The print is cute and the interior is nicely lined.

I am very disappointed in the navy color and in this jacket overall.
1. Navy color looks like denim
2. Fit: sleeves too big, collar too short, overall length too short.
3. Lining -- cheap, and even worse the green nylon lining the sleeves.
4. Belt -- a tie waist?? I thought I was getting a belt with a buckle, but my mistake, it was clearly pictured.
5. Pockets -- too small to actually fit my hands in; top pocket completely unfunctional.
Overall very disappointed in this jacket and would not order again. A shame to waste this elegant fabric on such a poor design.

I thought about getting this jacket for ages, and finally decided to pick it up. So glad I did!
I bought the Navy with the adorable green polka dot print on the inside. The jacket nips in a bit at the waist, keeping it from being too boxy (at least for my curvy shape). After a few days, I decided the belt didn't thrill me so I removed the belt loops.
I purchased my usual Boden size, and the jacket looks tailor-made for me. It was a bit stiff right out of the box, due to the waxed cloth, but is breaking in nicely.

This is SUCH a nice jacket, great fabric, flattering color, utilitarian-chic style, etc., etc., EXCEPT that there is not quite enough room for my chest! And I do NOT have a large one!
Shoulders, sleeve length, hip, waist -- everything fits me perfectly, except at the level right above the pockets, where the front meets the sleeve, there needs to be about another 1" of fabric.
I think the next size up would be too big everywhere BUT the chest, so not sure what to do...
Boden, can you send me a piece of this fabric (navy blue color), so I can add a gusset on each side? I like the jacket enough that I would do this complicated alteration myself!
Other than that, it would be nice if the lining print was a bit smaller. The huge dots are a bit circus-like, so slightly smaller dots would be more elegant.

The look of this jacket is so cute, however I had to return it because it just wasn't comfortable enough to wear a lot. The fabric is incredibly stiff which would make it last, but also makes it uncomfortable.

I have three of the old version of this jacket from a year or two ago (with the side snaps instead of belt) and the less bulky chest pockets and LOVE them - wear them all the time. I wanted to have a back up for my black one so bough this in navy. Loved the color but did not like the fit or styling at all so I returned it. The jacket does not fit the shoulders well, the arm holes are too big/baggy and the chest snap pockets are bulky and chest-accentuating.
The jacket no longer feels flattering. Please Boden - go back to the old pattern, styling and sizing and I will buy three more!
