I debated whether or not to order this jacket due to some of the reviews regarding its fit and the fabric. I decided to take a chance and order anyway and I am so thrilled that I did. The jacket is great. It is not a fitted jacket. The jacket is made of quality fabric and it looks great on. I know I will get lots of wear from this purchase.

The jacket is heavy and definately not summer/spring wear. I purchased my normal size and it was a little big in the waist and chest area. I will have to get it taken in and once done the jacket will be very cute but for now adds zero shape to me. I should have ordered a size down.

Bought the ecru w/ the navy blue tipping. Good quality, but very bulky and way too thick. The colors were so nice for summeer into fall, but it was way too bulky to have the casual look shown (model has sleeves pushed up -- mine would neaver stay up).

I was so excited when this blazer arrived, and I liked the look of it in person -- nice heavy fabric, and good detail. But when I put it on, it was shapeless, and kind of blah. I wish it nipped in more at the waist. So not typical of most my Boden purchases. This one is going back.

I hummed and hawed about this jacket whether to get it in regular or petite. I went with my gut and chose the petite and that was the right decision. I'm 5'5" but not a true petite frame, I have broad sholders and breasts, but seem to have petite dimentions in the arms. The only negatives were small and fixable and as I got this one sale so I'm okay with that. The button and the button hole didn't match up (an easy fix) and although the shoulders and arms were perfect, I have a small waist and will need a tailor to bring it in a bit. All together, it's super cute and well made (for the most part).

Stylish well made blazer. I initially ordered a size 10 being my bust measurement is 37", I'm 140 lbs., 5'7". I found that a size 10 is a little too big. I then ordered a size 8. It fit perfectly. The blazer is nicely fitted and lined. I bought it on sale, what a bargain.

I bought the navy (on navy) on sale for[$] -- a great deal for a great basic jacket. I couldn't see getting the "louder" versions of this, though I think the ecru and light blue with contrasting navy stripe look fantastic...I just wouldn't get as much wear in the life that I am in. At any rate, I initially got the 12 because I am 5'7.5" with broad, muscular shoulders. But I was a bit lost in it, despite being a 38C, so I tried the 10 and that fits perfectly. For once, my husband actually liked something I bought. At any rate, looks to be a great navy blazer to dress up or down...useful for conferences and meetings and the like.

This jacket is very sharp and polished - I bought it in navy and it looks great with white trousers and also with a pair of gray linen more casual pants. Tailoring is excellent and the blue dot lining and under the collar are nice Boden touches. I agree with the other reviewers that the material is very heavy - I would not wear it on a very hot day if I would be outside a lot, but in the office air conditioning it is just fine. The material is substantial.
