Ordered the grey, which in person looks more white and black. I kept it anyway, but was disappointed.

This coat has an odd shaping flare. It looks as if it would fit like a button trench coat. Instead it buttons and then the lower half flares out....so...it soes not cover what you are wearing...? Not sure the intent of the flare...otherwise...the color and product seemed okay...I was drawn to it since it was on sale...all too bad...back it went!

It arrived a wrinkly mess. I will put an iron to it and see how it comes out. Also, the one buttonhole buttons across the breast line. Maybe another go at this jacket should be a better, less wrinkly fabric and drop the buttonhole. Otherwise, the cut and colors are great.

I saw this coat and was in love,but the price was daunting. But when it went on sale, I read the reviews, and decided to go for it. Love the heavy linen fabric, the cut of the coat is flattering and the colors are perfect. I appreciated the reviews saying to downsize. Boden makes wonderful coats.

I returned this coat because it was so boxy. I wanted to love it, but when I put it on, it seemed shapeless.

The plain grey jacket had more white visible than I expected from the on-line picture, but it looks great over a plain black wool dress I have from Boden. Stylish for work when the weather is warm. Will wear more in the spring and will probably dress down with jeans for a more casual look. Good quality fabric.

This coat is out of this world! I ordered a size down (2) based on the measurements and customer reviews. It is very fitted in the armpit/shoulder area so after trying on the 2 I also ordered a 4 to see if that was better. In the end I went with the 2 so I do agree sizing down is an option. There was plenty of room in there for my 34D chest and in the 4 I just felt there was too much fabric through the rest of the coat, while the shoulder area was almost the same. If you have broad shoulders this may not work for you at all, but I love it! It is so meticulously made with the stripes all meeting to perfection across the coat. And I love the retro shape, I wouldn't change a thing! I am petite (5'3") so the sleeves are not really bracelet on me but that's okay, I like the length. VERY VERY beautiful coat. It does seem like it will be a bit prone to wrinkling but it's a casual coat so that doesn't trouble me.

This coat has that certain something that sets it apart. I wear it with black pants, skinny jeans, sleeveless black sheath. It's a winner!

I bought this coat with the matching notch neck dress! Beautiful together. I plan on making this my Easter outfit. Afterwards, I may wear them separately. I agree that the coat needs a little tuck for shape I might or might not get it altered. The purple is not as saturated as in the picture. Mine almost looks faded or muted. I've tried it with purple Boden sandals purchased 2 years ago and it works. Works great with black pumps also. It's a nice thick fabric and should last for many years.

I really love the style of this coat. I only have 1 issue...bracelet length sleeve. I'm a little worried that people may look at me and think my jacket looks too small. Otherwise, I feel like a very fashion forward mommy when I slip on this jacket.
