This is a beautifully made, warm coat that I wanted to love! Unfortunately, the cut just wasn't right for me (bulged out in a funny way at the hip). Also, the teal color looks more vibrant and saturated in the picture online - in real life, it's darker and more subdued, and I prefer bright colors. Too bad!

I've been wanting this coat ever since I saw it on the cover of the Fall catalog! I put off getting it due to the price & hoped I could get one on sale. Well, I got one-in teal in my usual size 16, but I am so sad because it's way too big! It must run big because even with multiple layers I was swimming in it! I often have trouble with Boden sizes, especially in coats, pants and skirts, but I was so hoping this coat would work for me. And sadly, there are no size 14s left to try. Bummer. I shouldn't have waited. I would get a 14 in teal in a heartbeat because this coat is beautiful and very well made. It's a great investment and on sale--actually a bargain. So, if you got one that worked for you--count yourself lucky because not all of us did.

I have never ordered from Boden but always admired the modern takes on classic styles. In need of a dressier winter coat I found none anywhere that were 100% wool that were affordable. So I paid close attention to the garment measurements and wanted something more fitted so I ordered a 4, I am 5 ft.6 plus a little, and weigh 120, 34B bra size, this coat fits great it wont leave alot of room for really bulky things underneath. It can be dressed up or down and is like a texture of boiled wool, nice quality. It came to my door in one day I think thats because there is a Boden outlet in PA about two hours from me I guess that a plus when I am ordering clearance items, they will come quickly!

I am thrilled with this coat. I am always very hesitant to buy clothing for myself online, but decided to get this coat because of all the positive reviews. Still, when it arrived, I was very pleasantly surprised. It fits absolutely perfectly, looks great, and so far is durable (however, it has only been 2 weeks). I am extremely happy. My only caution would be about sizing -- I am 5'4" and 110lbs, ordered the 2, and this coat fits me perfectly. If I gained 5lbs though, I'm not sure I could get it buttoned!! Thus it seems the sizes run a bit small.

What a beautiful coat, it is so much nicer in person than in a picture. The material is so nice and stretchy and I love the overall look. It has an odd snug fit in the waist for me, not sure if the coat I got was sewn incorrectly or if that is how it is made.
