The waxed jacket - a country classic gets a makeover with this great cut. I ordered my regular Boden size and that allowed for some layering or a sweater underneath. This is a great coat with so much detail. Excellent quality and a fun, cheerful print too. The only draw back was that it collects dust/lint readily being a new wax jacket. Because the design and quality were so good I decided to keep this and am sure as it ages the stickiness of the wax will attract less. I see myself using this for years to come...

This is a great coat that can be worn very casually or as a topper to a smart, warm outfit. It holds up to cold New England winters, too--a bonus! As one reviewer mentioned, the zipper is a bit oddly positioned since it does not start at the bottom of the hem, but this is a good thing, because when sitting (and driving, for instance), the coat doesn't bunch, which I appreciate. The coat is a worthwhile purchase, particularly at the sale price! My normal size--2--was perfect, allowing room for layers without looking bulky, and I have not had trouble with tightness across the shoulders.

I listened to reviewers and orderd a size down, which was a mistake. I should have stuck with a 4 as a 4P. The jacket did fit but I thought the pocket structure made it look bottom heavy with a lot going on at the bottom of the jacket.
On the other hand, the jacket is just extremely Boden-well made with the adorable London navy print lining. I had ordered the Heritage jacket in wool at the same time so I kept it (lined in London ivory print). My advice on this jacket is, if you are a long time Boden customer and know your Boden size, order that size in this jacket. I think others may be learning their Boden size.

This coat is surprisingly warm and, I expect, wind- and rain-resistant. The collar is pretty thin, but I usually wear scarves. While the coat has a boxy shape, it leaves plenty of room for a thick sweater if the weather calls for it. I like the 4 pockets to stash my keys and extra doggie cleanup bags. The best part of this coat? The delightful lining!

A handsome and practical casual coat. Quite warm. I am surprised how flattering it is. The shoulders have a very nice cut, and the body has some shape. It is long enough to cover sweaters. I got it for hiking and other outdoor activities but I will end up wearing it around town, too. The only improvement I would suggest is a two-way zipper. I am often an 8 in Boden but kept the 10 in this.

High-quality jacket, great for the winter but a little warm for the fall. Runs slightly large, so I ordered a size down. It is thicker than I expected, so this is more of a coat than a jacket. What a beautiful coat! I am a teacher and recess time with my new Heritage Waxed jacket just got drier and warmer, and so did my walks with my Chocolate Lab "Garbo"! I can't wait to wear it even more once it gets cooler out. The fabric is high quality and durable. It will keep me warm and dry especially since it has a light flannel lining. Last year I missed out, but I persevered and bought one this year.
