I'm very happy with this purchase. The first thing I noticed during unpacking was the weight, and it has a nice heft that makes it feel solid without being overbearing. I got the Dark Khaki, which has more of a green tinge than the pictures suggest, but I love the color. The quality of the fabric and the jacket is top notch as noted by another review. I was also pleasantly surprised that the zip out hood is also of the same material as the jacket, so it will be functional and look great too like the rest of the jacket. As for the fit, I measured at 36" around the chest so I was unsure what to get, I decided on a S and the shoulders/chest are perfect! The cut does flare a bit as it goes down (but I'm also quite slim) so just something I thought I might note. I use it on my walk to school and for going out; it's great against the wind and depending on how cold it gets theres room for layers too. I just found out about Boden and after this experience I'm definitely keeping them on my radar!

For years I have wanted a British wax cotton jacket but either they've been too expensive or too ordinary in styling. This jacket has awesome contemporary style but still fundamentally a classic. I don't worry that it'll be out of style in 2 years. And I love that it's made of true British wax cotton rather than an imitation. My only comment is that it runs a bit large. If your plan is to layer a sweater underneath, I'd say buy your normal size. But with a shirt alone I'd say it runs big.

It was love at first sight when I first spotted this jacket online. I don't recall the last time I ever made a web purchase so impulsively--and this is coming from a bloke who thoroughly hates shopping for clothes. After a few days in transit, I received the shipment and upon opening the box, I was not disappointed. The quality is outstanding! The wax coating ensures that you'll stay relatively dry and provide a good measure of protection from the elements. The cut and style is flattering and appropriate for any occasion. You should've seen the way my girlfriend's eyes lit up when I first wore it out on a night on the town. I am impressed by the small details, like the hidden, zippable hoodie. In short, I hope for an extended winter season just so i can exploit the sexiness of this jacket!

This is a fab jacket. I literally ordered 2 other jackets from other companies before deciding on this one. The style is classic, with quality materials. It's warmer than it looks in the pictures, with good quilted interior insulation. My only complaint is I'd love to see it offered in a Medium Tall -- for lanky guys like me.
