Comments about Boden Men Amalfi Suit Jacket:
I'll start saying that the jacket went back in the box headed back to Boden within minutes of arriving. Nothing was right about it.
The cut was very strange. I am an off the rack 42L which is what I ordered. The chest was alright, a little snug, but the arms were ridiculously long, and because of the functional button holes would have required reworking at the shoulder, too expensive for a jacket which also felt cheap. In additionn to being long the sleeves felt like they might have been cut for Popeye or perhaps Miami Vice, tight at the bicep but very roomy in the forearm (fit for rolling up).
The silk blend in the jacket left it with a sort of sticky feel, rather than a smooth soft finish. Stick with wool silk blends.
Overall, a dissapointment. Certainly not something I would have paid full price for and ultimately something I wasn't willing to keep for half price.
