This brand new Shirt Dress style is one of the gems in the new range; a great easy denim tunic in ultra soft mid blue denim. We've lined it with a sweet star print fabric, that you see in peeps at the cuff and side slits. Great to layer over leggings, skinny jeans, and cosy ribbed tights.

We got the 15/16, and this dress is stick-person narrow, from shoulders and chest through hips. This dress would fit a slender girl but even then, I recommend you size up. There is a tie at the waist in the picture, but it did not come in our package--?? Fabric is a good weight and style is cute but sizing won't work here.
Not sure what's up with the new sizing of Johnnie B, but it is inconsistent and confusing at best--are they trying to fit girls or teens? Is this girls (child) size 15/16 or meant to fit 15/16 years? I wasn't trying to order MiniBoden. Johnnie B needs to truly be styled for, and made to fit teens.

get real boden. what happened with your sizing. this was short and tight and totally inappropriot for school or any thing. I have noticed you are trying to spread to america. You will have no luck unless you change. american girls are taller! at this point so many things with your new sizing have gone wrong i don't think I can order from you any more which sucks because you are my favorite company. my birthday is coming up and all I want is for your sizing to go back to what it used to be!

I bought this dress in size 9/10 for my 10-year old. She is slightly on the shorter/slimmer side and is also very picky about fabric feel (some sensory issues).
This dress is perfect!! The fabric is super soft but retains its shape. The dress is just slightly large on her but we flipped up the sleeves at the cuffs and found a lovely tone-on-tone star pattern underneath and that just makes it even better. The length hits just above the knee. In spring she could wear it plain; in winter it will look great with leggings and boots. This is a great all-around dress that will be a favorite.

Throw on a pair of tights, boots and a scarf and/or belt with this comfortable dress and off you go! Easy dressing for a chic fall look. A nice alternative to wearing pants. I'm 5'4" petite build women and found this dress when shopping for my 12 yr old. I was thrilled to find that I fit in the size 15-16.
