My 11 year old daughter really likes this dress because it is festive without being overly embellished or poofy. It looks great with a blush/dusty pink cardigan (like the silky one from JohnnieB a few seasons ago). But there are a few things to note:
COLOR the grey color is actually darker than in photo (product color name "charcaoal" is an apt description). That said, the dress looks good in the darker shade.
FIT my D is a just-below-average size (11 yo) and this dress just fits her. The cut is a bit high waisted.
QUALITY The collar is not finished as shown in the photos. First, the dress on the model has a peter pan collar, but is in fact a scalloped collar as per the dress only photos (I would have preferred the former). Secondly, the collar does not have a nice finished edging as shown in the photos - rather, the sequins go right to the edge, no border. Perhaps a minor point from an appearance, but seems lesser quality finishing.
Lastly, Boden, this dress would have beer better with cap sleeves! Sleeveless just doesn't look right in winter.

I liked the dress a lot more than I thought I would. My daughter is tall and slim and it fit her very well. It was a little shorter than I would have liked. She probably will not fit into it next year. It's too late to return it and get the bigger size for Christmas. I got it on sale, so I don't feel too bad. Great dress overall!
