We got a red one in the usual size earlier. Although it ran big, we kept it and have used it quite a lot, wearing it to church and other special occasions, since it is longer and looks more formal. I like how substantial the fabric is. So, when the blue one with little birds in a size smaller came available, I grabbed it instantly. It fits very well, and still have a little extra room -- at one size smaller than usual! I am saving it for fall, since the color is more fall-like. I could see that it would be good for everyday use since the print is more playful, and the skirt isn't as big. Anyhow, I like them very much regular size or one size smaller.

So cute! The waist is big and is stretchy so if you are okay with it being a little shorter, you could size down with a skinny mini.

Snagged in a sale and got the 7-8y size since 6-7y doesn't exist in Mini Boden. My almost 6 year old (petite, slender, long legged) is looking forward to wearing this skirt next fall. She loves the color purple and is pleased with the purple velvet detailing and how the birds make it even more girlish and pretty.

The elastic is very loose and there isn't a drawstring option as the picture would lead you to believe (WHY? - one less star for lacking this seemingly obvious option), so I may take this to a seamstress and have them add that feature. This was a great deal, I expect my daughter to get a lot of wear out of it. I love the appropriate for winter weight of the corduroy, the elegant detail of the velvet. The skirt is so twirly! Sadly, while this is too big for my daughter, it is not big enough for me. The photograph does not do the colors justice, the green isn't so muted and the purple is brighter.

We Really love this skirt but had to get the right size. It runs very large . My daughter is 5 y.o. and wears size 7 as she is very tall . In this skirt we had to get 4-5 .
My Daughter loves the color and how girly this skirt is. Highly recommend it but be aware of the sizing. When you get it right it is very pretty skirt for little or big girl.

At first I found the skirt bigger and longer than expected and was debating returning it. However, after a few tries, we found it modest, versatile and very flattering when paired with nicer tops. It could be dressed up or down. And the material is substantial. The color of the red one we got is very pretty, and I find myself falling in love with it. I hope washing and drying it in the dryer would shrink it a little to make the fit better. Nevertheless, we expect many years of wear out of it.

Very cute twirly skirt. However, I had to have the waist altered for my daughter. She is thin for her height (56", 64 pounds), and the waist was way too big. Luckily, my mom is a seamstress, so she just opened the inner seam at the waist a bit and pulled the elastic tighter. Now it's perfect! Too bad they did not build an adjustable waist into this skirt.

Very stylish and comfy skirt. Bought size 3-4 on sale for my 2 year old, but I can see already that she will get a lot of use out of it, the skirt may be dressed up or down depending on occasion, love the combination of green and dusty pink!
