I bought this for my four year old daughter and she is smaller than average yet the size 4 fits her perfectly so I'm thinking it runs small. Everything I buy her in a size 4 falls right off her waist unless I cinch it in big time with the adjustable waist. She is on the short side so I don't mind that this mini skirt is VERY mini. I probably wouldn't want to buy this for my other daughter who is very tall and all legs, I would feel that it is too short for her. The fabric feels a little stiff which is why I gave 4 stars but maybe it's because I haven't washed it yet? Otherwise this skirt is very cute, the color is rich (red) and flattering.

I love the color and softness of the fabric. My daughter loves the "heart pockets". They are a very cute touch. One thing though, I wish it came with the inside lining so she wouldn't have to wear shorts underneath.

Aboslutely darling skirt! The fabric is very durable and heavy. However we were disapointed to discover the button closure fell off the FIRST time my daughter tried this skirt on! We are going to keep it though, because its so cute and we'll just safety pin it. This is the first time this has happened with an article of Boden clothing.

This was my first Boden order... We LOVE this skirt! My daughter wore it right out of the package and didn't want to take it off. She especially loves the heart pockets. The quality seems to be very good. I think it will last through several children. My only "disappointment", if you can call it that, is in the size guide. My 3 year old daughter measured 21.5" at the waist, so I ordered the size 5, as the guide indicated. It's quite large on her. The pro? It'll probably fit her for two years instead of one!!! :)
