My daughter and I LOVE the dusty blue color. (I wish Boden offered this color for adult coats.) The coat seems warm, is about the thickness of my Boden down coat. I do wish the hood had snap flaps at the bottom or something else to keep it from falling down, but other than that I am pleased. I do want to point out that Boden's ski coats are indeed more expensive for a reason. My son's one from last year has those flaps that snap keeping the hood upright and an overall thicker material. But I think this Cosy Padded Jacket will work well for the winter.
I bought 4-5 year for my 3-year-old. The fit is good with a little room to grow, but is not as big as I expected. Maybe the coat runs slightly small?

Bought this jacket in dusty sapphire for my son. Yes, my son! Great thick but lightweight jacket. Absolutely comfortable and very soft fabrics. My son has eczema so he is partial to soft material and allergic to down. Very stylish and love the contrasting colors between shell and lining. Bought one size up for next winter. Will look for this jacket again next winter season.
