The beret and scarf in red look terrific with my daughters bright blue coat. The red is on the orange side so makes a good contrast to the bright blue. I agree with other comments that the scarf may be a bit short for older children but it works very well for my todler.

My daughter loved this item on the catalog and despite the reviews that the scarf was too short and against my better judgement I ordered it. I thought if I ordered a size up it may solve that problem. Well, it did not. Even for an 8 year old the largest size has a ridiculously short scarf. The beret is nice, lovely color (Peacock) and warm but, to wear by itself, it does not justify the price. Very dissapointed.

We got the red and love the color. It is an orangy red and matches so much Boden this Fall. I love that the scarf is shorter this year so it doesn't get in the way of playing. My daughter is about a size 10/11 kind of between sizes and we originally ordered the 7-10 but sent it back because the hat fit too snug like a beanie and I wanted a bit more beret look to it so I exchanged for the 11-14. It is a great fit and will have plenty of growing room. My daughter says it is very soft against her neck.

I ordered the 11/14, red & grey for my 9 1/2 yo daughter. The scarf would possibly fit a 2 yo. The hat simply would not lay correctly, no matter how many different ways we tried. Such a shame because it would have been a precious punch for her outfits!
