Got this for my 11 yr old as a uniform/dress shirt and he really likes it. Very soft and comfortable relative to a lot of dress shirts. Love the contrasting wrist - just a little bit of Boden style that makes it different.

It's a very well-made, fun and stylish shirt and I love it!!! The fabric is smooth and comfortable. My 12-year-old son told me he had gotten lots of compliments from both boys(!) and girls the day he wore it to school. We got the clover stripe, a color that's unusual for boys' clothing, and looks great - warm without looking too pink or purple. I do see what the previous reviewer means. It is cut long and narrow, and would probably fit slim boys better. However, that's one of the things I like about it. I think it's an European cut, not a "bizarre" cut. I used to live in France and love the T-shirts my friend sends me from there for my son because he is pretty slim and they fit him so well. Interestingly, even when they are a bit too long for him, he can get away with the length because the width fits and they don't look too big or funny on him the way wider-cut shirts of the same length would. He always ends up wearing the long, slim ones much longer. Most shirts sold in the U.S. would be wider for the same length, and they may work better if your child is not particularly slim. I have never left a review for clothing, but this is such a nice shirt that I didn't want people to shy away from trying one, thinking it's made/cut badly. I hope Boden will keep making beautiful shirts like this!
