Chinos are a great alternative to jeans this Winter. They're as comfortable as a pair of good denims, but they have a bit more preppy style about them, and can rise to an occasion if you need them to. Ours are proving so popular that this season we've run them in a choice of five colours, from muted charcoal black to bold washed red. Great rolled up with plimsolls for a bit of low key styling.

My boys love these slim chinos. They are extremely durable, comfortable and can be paired with basic t-shirts or button up shirts. The only changes I would recommend is an adjustable waist. Overall, we are happy with these pants and would purchase another pair!

After returning the pants that should have fit my son according to the measurements, I ordered the 30R thinking that they would perhaps fit him. WRONG WRONG WRONG. One good thing is that his toothpick legs could at least fit into the pants without any trouble; the bad part is the waist is so big that he looked like he was going for the dropped pants look. So these are being returned too. I get that these are slim pants but when a kid with a 4% BMI can't fit into his size, I don't know who can. I can't recommend these for anyone.

I was excited to find these for my son who is 5'10" and less than 116 pounds. Based on my conversation with the helpful representative, I chose the 28L and bought it in each color for the school year. When he tried it on, he found it was so slim that it took him almost 5 minutes to put them on. Seriously, the kid is built like a stick figure but the way these are cut, you'd think I'd have to send him to a fat camp. I love the colors & the fabric but the sizing is way off. Hopefully the 30L will work, otherwise he'll be forced to wear shorts for the entire year.

I was so happy they finally had slim chinos in longs so I measured my very tall slim son and ordered the 22 longs. The waist was great but the hips and thighs were so tight my son declared he could barely move. They also had less than an inch of growing room in the legs. It is a shame because I really liked the pants. We are going to try a 24 long. They will be big in the waist but hopefully they will work. I can't recommend these at this time because their are not a lot of kids slimmer than my son.
