I adore these blazers! We bought a tan for this year, a blue the next size up, two in size 2/3 for my brother-in-law's newborn twins, (1 in blue, 1 in tan) and I hope they restock because I'd be willing to get more for when my son is older! It WOULD be nice to have lining all over, though I'm happy it is in the sleeves. Lastly, my husband is sad they aren't made (red patches & all) in his size!

This blazer just arrived and while my son has yet to try it on, I'm considering getting a size up in addition to the one we have. I'm also pleasantly surprised because we ordered two for my brother-in-law's twins (not yet born) for next winter. (We're a tall bunch & if his boys are like ours, they'll be wearing all their clothes a size above their age. We bought a 3/4 for my son who will be 3 in two months.)
The color (tan) is nicer than our screen shows, and it is THE SOFTEST corduroy I've ever touched. I also love that the underside of the collar is red as well.
I was worried about the fact that aside from the sleeves it is unlined, but it doesn't bother me all that much. Nice that the sleeves are, and I'd have preferred it be fully lined, (and this is all that keeps it from 5 star status), but overall I'm pleased. My son will be very stylish in his little coat, and my husband wishes they sold it in his size!

I bought this for my 12 year old son who needed a blazer or sport coat to wear with his Khakis, dress shirt and tie for a student conference. I was so excited to find this because I knew that once he wore it for the special occasion that it would be perfect to layer with his jeans and other shirts for school. He LOVES it and so do I!

I ordered the 7/8 for my son to wear next year. He will only be 5 but I thought this would run small. I definitely have to trade for a 5/6.It seems to run pretty true to size. It looks very comfortable. Only thing I wish it had a detachable hood but besides that it is great.
*Boden you really need to consider making a 6/7...I have seen many people suggest this in reviews. Between 5/6 and 7/8 is a huge difference. Thanks

Wow! I ordered this boys blazer on a whim to try it out and was blown away by how snazzy it looked on my 9 yr old! The camel will look excellent with a pair of dark skinny jeans and either a buffalo-check dress shirt underneath or a simple tee for casual attire. The elbow patches are what make it a statement piece for sure! I'd love to see this in a fine-wale cord next season in a bright kelly green with royal blue patches. :) I feel like sizing runs true. My son is in-between 9-10 and 11-12 in knit tops now (which I feel run a little short) and I got him a 9-10 in the blazer and he has room in body and sleeves for growth. Great job, Boden! I'm going to order another one for my toddler.

Beautiful color, soft, cord material and style. My son actually loved it...I love to purchase a great blazer for him to wear throughout the fall/winter/spring. He can wear jeans/dress slacks and a rocker t-shirt to school...throw on 1 beautiful Boden blazer and presto you have a stylish, comfy boy who looks cool, appropriate for the occasion, with zero fuss! Regrettably, the arm holes are cut too low and he had trouble raising his arms...he wants to keep it..I am returning it and will search for one with a better fit. I recommend this only with the fit issue in mind...
