My 7 year old son loves his board shorts! I bought 3 different pairs. He always complains about the typical bather's fitted lining and loves that these have the lining all down the shorts instead. They dry quickly and work great for play and swimming. They do seem wide in the legs but the drawstring makes them fit and it's worth the extra width to have shorts that he loves.

For a tall, skinny 15 year old (5'11", 108 lbs) the waist on the 15/16 is really big--but the length is just right.

I could only recommend these swim shorts to the mom of an average-sized kid.

These are the second pair of board shorts I've purchased for my son this season. I love the bright colors and so far they are wearing/washing well. They are sized differently than the mini-boden shorts. My son wears an 11/12 in mini-boden and we had to order the 13/14 in the Johnnie B version. He gets a lot of compliments on these as well as his navy pineapple print board shorts.

These are my sons favorites for the beach or pool! I hope they'll be for sale again next year!!!

These adorable shorts are cuter in person and made me proud to have a boy. Girls have the cutest swimsuits. I think these are a lil hawaiian print meets new age. Pineapples have fluorescent sunglasses and still classic print with loads of style. He is 54 inches and 68 lbs. super skinny and they dont come off in the water and come all the way down to his knees, YEah, even my lil son whose husky and 73lbs can wear them too and he looks just as cute! I got a size 11/12 and he is ten yrs. old fourth grade.

I purchased several children's clothing item from the web site. I even contacted your rep by phone. She was very helpful assisting me on sizes and actually taking time to look at the actual product to verify color. I was so happy with the colors and quality that I order a few more items.

These are perfect for my very tall, skinny 9 year old son. Most bottoms are way too big in the waist but these were great. Really cute too!
