we really like the fluorescent soles-that was a nice surprise! we expected the beautiful blue color of the canvas from the picture, but the soles were an unexpected bonus!
the only negative is that we had to wait for the shoes for what seemed like forever! more than 6 or 7 weeks! we were warned about this when we ordered (that they weren't available til then) but my daughter was really excited for them to come so it seemed like it took forever!
