My teenage son is so picky about his jeans - they have to be soft denim, have to be stylish ( but not too trendy)and have to fit exactly right. He tried these on when they arrived yesterday and announced they were "awesome". He is slim, and the legs were straight but not super-skinny, which he liked. One happy teen.

Great jeans for a skinny, tall growing boy!

I ordered these in Long for my hard to shop for tall, thin son. They are pretty thin so I'm not sure how long they will last. I will update my review after they have been worn/washed more.

My 13 year old son had been complaining that the adjustable buttons on Mini B jeans dug into his hips and would no longer wear them. (I love that design--he is tall and skinny and too lazy to fuss with a belt.) I ordered these based on measurements and was happily surprised to find that size 28 are a perfect fit!!! No buttons. Happy kid and mom. Very pleased with these. Got a second pair.

My son won't wear any other brand jeans, but these. They fit not too tight and too baggy and are very comfortable due to the soft denim material. He is 5'6" and 110 lbs and wears the 28L.

My young teen likes to wear "plain" jeans, not skinny jeans, just a nice straight jean. He tried these on and they fit perfectly. I would order another pair, but they are on backorder for 6 weeks (too long to wait). These are a little thinner than other jeans, which will be great for warmer temperatures, but it doesn't seem like these would be durable enough if you have someone that is tough on the knees of their pants.

My son is tall (6') and slender and these fit great! They hit just below the waist without appearing to be baggy in the bum. He is not a fan of skinny jeans, and likes the no-fuss appearance of these jeans. We've bought more than a few and they wash and wear wonderfully!

I have a boy who loved every pair of Miniboden shorts/pants/jeans that he's ever owned. He's now outgrown that line, and this is our first Johnnie B purchase. I expected a continuity with the Miniboden pants, however there are no interesting details, and the cut is nothing special. The denim is a nice quality, but these are not nearly as nice as the Miniboden jeans.

These are the perfect jean for my 14 yr old son son! He has tried many over the years and will only wear these! They fit perfectly, and hit just below the waist. They are made to be worn a little slouchy. They are not too loose, but very comfortable. Not too much pocket detail. We bought them in both washes, they wash beautifully!

These jeans are just not worth of the Boden line. My son is 12 and outgrowing his Mini Boden jeans size 14 (please bring the bigger sizes in Mini Boden back) but cannot fit at all in the bigger size of Johnnie B!!! I don't understand that. Plus the cut and design are really bad, with pockets that hang really low. Totally tight in the waist, with huge legs, and misplaced back pockets - the only positive thing to say is that the jeans (the material) looks like it is good quality.
