Great shorts, love the elasticated waist but it was still way too large for my kid. I sent them back and was annoyed when I saw my neighbours kid wearing them and they looked great on him! wish I had ordered a size down when they were on offer

My4 year old loves these.. He can be a bit of a nudge about having to wear shorts but never complains about this style because they cover his knees(don't ask me where his anti knee showing came from;). These are very good quality and fun designs to boot. They do run long so if you have a tall child (47") like I do they are perfect. If your child is on the shorter size order down because its an adjustable waist.

These shorts are wonderful. They look cool to my 7 year old and cute to his mom! They wash GREAT. They are awesome for school since they are a little longer, but my son says they are great on hot days too! I love Mini Boden!!

My son has these shorts in many different colors and they are a staple in his spring and summer wardrobe. They do ride down a bit, showing a bit more of his backside than is necessary, but that doesn't deter us. We love the elastic waistband and cool surfer look. The multi-check print is going back though. I really wanted to like it, but it was a bit too much, even though I tend to like plaid pants / shorts on him.

To be honest my son has not yet worn these shorts so can only comment on their initial appearance, etc. They are really cute, even cuter in person. We've bought Boden shirts before but never shorts, the shirts seem to run small so I thought the shorts would too but they seem a bit on the larger side (my 7 year old is quite slim). I may try washing and hopefully they will shrink a bit. Either way, I am very pleased because they are adorable. Boden has the cutest boy clothes I've ever seen...!
