My son loved these shoes last year, so we ordered a pair again this year. I love the look, style and not having to bother with laces are a real plus. However, these shoes started to look really shabby and worn within weeks and now two months later, they are ready for trash. Love the design, but poor quality means I won't be buying next year.

Second review: The quantity is not as good as a few years ago, sadly. Four or five years ago I ordered these sneakers and they still held up well after two kids. This year, the cloth that covers the shoe's footbed has started separating and rippling -- after only a MONTH AND A HALF of (daily) wear. Grr.

These shoes seem pretty true to size. I think they used to run a tad small and narrow, which I liked, but I'm not sure they do anymore. But they still seem to fit my son's slightly narrow feet decently. I would love to see Boden offer more colors and patterns next year.
Maybe five years ago, I ordered shoes like these from Boden, and those shoes lasted not only through one summer for my first child, but held together well through another summer for my second child. I hope Boden makes this year's sneakers of the same quality -- I'll report on that at a later date.

These sneakers are cute as buttons but they don't last. I bought two pairs for my two active boys age 8 and 5. They love them. But less than a month after we received them they already started to falling apart. The labels on the back of the heel peeled off first, and then the colored trim on the side start to peel as well. The cotton insole liner came out within 2 weeks. For the price I paid for these I could have bought 4 pairs of similar sneakers from Old Navy probably would have lasted longer.
