I bought the plaid for one son, and after they came in felt compelled to order for my 2nd son! They match more outfits than I realized, which is always a ++++. My 4.5 year old picked the star pattern out of the catalogue. He had to have them and he is FUSSY about his shoes. He loves them, he wears them all the time, even in the snow! They hold up beautifully and he made me get a second pair for his little brother who is 2. These shoes seem to run wider this year. I got my son a size 30 and he said they were too small/short with his toes being at the end...so reordered a size up and they seemed short in toe too and even wider on heel. I kinda want the size 30 back bc no way can he wear the 31's now.
