I buy these pants every year and will continue to do so. Great design and super comfortable. I LOVE the waistband and its comfortable for my 2 younger boys to get on and off. Yes, the pants fade after washing, but I like the worn look of these pants - its part of their charm.

Bought these in 4 colors. The red were back ordered about 9 weeks so my son missed wearing them for a significant portion of spring. They just arrived and both the "white" drawstring and label are pink. I don't know if I will keep them. If I do....I will have to wash them alone because I do not trust the dye given they arrived already showing signs of running. Major disappointment.

I love all Boden zip offs exspecially the camo print ones. There cute and stylish and are pants and shorts in one which is great. They run small so i would recommend sizing up from your child's normally pant size. Other thanthat there great!

Pants are cute - but, not has bright red as the picture.. - run about a size small - have a bright pink drawstring - and thin fabric

But the bright colors do fade in wash.

My son and I love these pants but the fabric is thin and I doubt they will be able to be handed down to my younger son.

I love this style pants! They can be used year round due to the zip off legs. I really like the array of color choices too.

Perfect for my rugged 3 year old who never rests. This is our third pair and he loves them. Durable and protects the knees. Only complaint is that they seem to fade a little, but then again, they've been thru the wash a lot!

Drat, another year with rib waist! These were staples a couple of years ago for my two boys, but since Boden changed the (formerly velcro-and-zip) waistband we have stopped buying them. We tried a few pair of the rib waist version, but found the ribbing waistband material adds bulk and the material holds moisture, which isn't so great for summer pants.

We are still using the last three pair we own of the old style, though, and can't say enough good things about them. The quick-drying, lightweight material is quite tough--it would have to be, it's made it through three summers now!--and the colors (orange, grass green, medium blue) cheerful. They easily double as swimsuits. We usually use them as shorts, but the zip-on cuffs are season and age extenders.

I see the new cargo shorts with similar lightweight material, bright colors, and fixed waist have just about sold out this year--I wonder if other people have missed having the old option as well? We'll keep checking back in hopes of seeing them again, they are winners!
