My 7 year-old son loves these. We have gotten the shorts for years, but this is the first time we got the pants. He developed a nickel allergy and the buttons on jeans were irritating his skin. These pants have nothing to irritate. The pants run a little large around the waist for my super-skinny guy, but we just tie them tight. He loves the zip off feature and the fun prints.

Zip offs are a houshold staple here. We use them year round and love the versitility of them. When zipped off, the shorts fall below the knee. The rip waist makes for easy on easy off as well. These are my son's favorite pants! We purchased the red and they run true to size. So far they have retained shape and have not faded a bit. These pants are a lightweight so in the winter we will need to add some long jons to them, but they are perfect for all other seasons as is. Definitely worth getting if you are debating!

Third summer in a row that I have purchased these zip-off cargos for my 4 year old. The ability to change the length means they are wearable spring through fall, and the sizing is generous enough to actually fit him for an entire six months (or more). Love these trousers!
