This jumper is for my 6 year old. He is a bit tall for his age so I bought the 7-8 but ended up returning it for the 9-10 which is baggy but with room to grow. It's almost too elegant of a jumper to give a 6 year old but it'll smarten up his khakis and polo when the need arises. i won't let him treat it like a sweatshirt and climb trees in it and so forth. It's very thin but we live in a warm climate so that is fine for us and it'll be great for layering in the winter. I have only washed it once so far but it came out very well and it seems sturdy enough - have had similar Boden jumpers that had a long and happy life.

Function follows form and beauty. We bought this jumper for our six year old son and are amazed by its quality. The design is classic and timeless, nothing mainstream. We became Boden addicts!

The sweater is nice but the other reviewers are right size up at least 1 size and the sweater is very thin and doesn't hold it's shape well.

The colors of this sweater remind me of the 70s, in a good way. My son loved it when he saw it, and he usually just wants to wear what's comfortable, not necessarily what looks good. He wouldn't take the sweater off. The knit is so soft, though I wish the sweater was thicker, because it's more like a shirt almost.

For a toddler size up. Because of the tapered bottom, the jumper doesn't look as cute as other Mini Boden sweaters that I have purchased. My son is 2 1/2 and because of the way his little belly sticks out the fit of the sweater is not as I would have hoped. Also, it is thinner than I was expecting, more like a light tee than a sweater.

I ordered the Sail Blue/Multistripe sweater for my son. On the plus side, the color combo is fantastic and unique - it looks wonderful on my son. However, like the other reviews, it is REALLY THIN, and also the body is really short. I ordered a size 7/8 and it looks and fits more like a size 5/6. I debated about sending it back, and decided to keep it for awhile to see how it wears.

I love this sweater for its style and weight. It has been great with layers this winter, and it will be great with shorts for cool spring/summer nights.

I love boden and my 4 1/2 year old son wears mostly boden and tea. I live for the sales. With that said, boden sweaters are usually high quality. Not this one. The color combo of blue/brown/orange isn't great and doesn' match much except maybe thier different brown bottoms, The problem is after 1 washing it looks very used-will be sending back.
