This swim diaper is very oddly sized; it is huge at the sides and the elastic at the waist is not tight enough to make it a reliable swim diaper. The elastic around the legs is fine, but the sides (around the hips) poofs out enormously (and unnecessarily) and the waistband is thin and loose elastic. My baby is on the slender side, but. I feel certain that even were he heftier the elastic and cut would still be bizarre.

These "swim pants" (AKA "swim diaper") are well made and comfy, and they run true to size. They wash well and dry quite quickly. The big con is that the cut is a very poor design; essentially they don't go in at the waist at all - just straight line from the thighs upward. The elastic is not tight at all either. The combination of those two design flaws is that the waist is huge and not tight enough to ensure they will adequately contain diaper accidents that may occur in the water. My baby is on the slim side, but I firmly believe that the elastic on this swim diaper wouldn't be adequate for even a very chubby baby.

Leave it to Boden! I have 3 very special little boys in my life - ages 6, 4, and 5 months. I purchased the blue beach balls swim short for each so they match. Too cute! The design and color is great!

My baby looks adorable in these swim trunks! They fit true to size, with or without a diaper. I bought two pairs and look forward to swimming with my 3 month old soon!

This bathing suit is adorable. My son loves it, and so do we! I have honestly never purchased anything from Boden that I was not completely satisfied with. I would buy this again and never hesitate to buy anything for my son here!

These are by far the most darling swim trunks for baby boys!!! My baby is 7 months old and I purchased the 12-18 month size and he will have a while to wear them as they run a bit small, but I'm happy because he is currently in about 9 month sizing, so he will be able to wear these all spring, summer and fall!! The red pattern is just adorable and goes with the striped hat perfectly! I love these!

hard to comment on many of these questions - this is a swim suit for an infant - very cute and appears well made - hasn't actually worn it yet ( will soon, going on vacation ) - had to send the first suit back as appeared to be small - next size appears big but going with that one. My big complaint is the time it takes ( and took ) to get the original order, return it, and get the second order - in a world of FedEx and UPS and VERY fast service by so many mail order firms I doubt I will be ordering from you again - sadly, but the time frame was from back in the dark ages. And we PAID for shipping - should never have taken so long.
