My first choice was the caramel color but that was out of stock so I tried the black in a 2R, smaller than my usual 4R. It was beautiful but tight so I sent it back and was then able to order both the caramel and the blue in size 4R. I have a 26" waist/34" hips and the 4 was form fitting and flattering. My biggest dilemma was which one to keep and which one to send back. Normally I don't have more than one item if a kind. Well it turns out I had tops in my closet that worked well with both so I kept both. Just couldn't give one up. Grab this ultra-flattering skirt if you can - you won't be sorry.

I bought this skirt in black in my usual Boden skirt size (UK10/US6 Long). The fit is quite good (not too big in the waist, as with other Boden skirts I have). I wanted the skirt to hit just below the knees (to give a better flippy effect), and the Long does just that. The cut of the skirt also has a bit of a slimming/sleeking effect, which I appreciate.
The material is quite soft, with a bit of give -- very comfortable. I expect to get a good deal of wear out of this skirt: it can be dressy or casual. It's a good addition to my wardrobe!

Love this skirt. It's a nice fine corduroy--not bulky. I really like the fit, too, although if you were on the shorter side, I could see this not working for you. I'm almost 5'7" and got an 8 and it is the perfect length.

I originally ordered the flippy cord skirt in size 10 and had to exchange for a smaller size. The 8 is still a little loose in the hips and waist. I have a chubby tummy but there is still some room at the waist. A size 6 would probably be too small. I would have liked a more fitted look. The flip is very cute. I wear this skirt with knee highs and boots. Other than being slightly big, I love this skirt.
