Simply gorgeous pencil skirt with a beautiful texture. The 4R fits like it was made for me (my measurements are 26.5" waist and 35" hips.) Length hits me right at the knee and I'm 5' 5". Form fitting without being tight, this skirt is work appropriate and could also be worn out to dinner or to a party. Could easily be paired with a tailored blouse or wool sweater. I got it in the black and would buy it in another color. I hope it's back next fall in other colors like grey, Prussian blue, rust, and brown. More, please Boden!

I love this skirt! It is great for winter. The texture makes it really unique, and the fit is flattering. It is much thicker than I was thinking, but that isn't really a bad thing. It's good quality, and versatile. It looks best with a blouse tucked in. A work staple in my winter wardrobe.

I don't like for skirts to hug my backside. I count on ample material and the lining to avoid this. I got the skirt in my normal size 6. The waist fit but it was too snug everywhere ( maybe the waist too) so I ordered up a size and it was too big and bulky. I really love the material of this skirt. Quality product. It would probably fit someone with a different build. Boden dresses work great for me. The pencil skirts do not.

This skirt arrived in navy- the material is beautiful! Lining is lovely. I had to return it though, because I just didn't like the extra bulk I felt it gave me around my stomach. I feel like it added a bit of a "pooch"- I am a size 8 and the long came to just the right length for me, covered the knees. For someone else this will be a nice skirt to get many uses.

I wanted a classic black pencil skirt that I could wear to work but not too boring so when I saw this, I wanted to give it a try. It turns out to be perfect. Note this is a winter skirt with a heavy wool fabric but it does not make you feel bulky. The skirt has a classic shape, very fitted, and makes me look much taller and having longer legs. I am 5'3 and got 2p. The length is perfect, right on the top of my knees. The fit is good but slightly tight around hips (fabric has no stretch so if you have hips you might want to size up). The only thing I wish to be different is the vent be a little longer to make walking easier but but too bad as it is. Overall I love it.Definitely great for work but if you put on high heels and throw some nice jewlery on, you can make it a sexy going out outfit too!

I now own this skirt in three different colors. It fits really well and is incredibly comfortable. It is so well made and Boden have paid a lot of attention to the quality of the fabric as well as the way it has been finished. The fabric is a boucle weave, it is so tightly woven it does not catch or pull. I have worn these skirts with my jean jacket, and a smarter jacket for work they always look so stylish. I think I may have to order the green one next !!!!
