This dress is great. I got it in navy and works well for cocktails parties and dressing up. I can also wear it with a sweater for work. As other reviewers have commented, the fabric has a sheen but I think that it gives more interest and easier to dress up. It has a nice weight to it and the lining is great. The front gathering does seem to accent any sort of tummy. That would be my one complaint. But at the sale price and the other pros, it is still a keeper.

This dress was cute in the front, but diffcult to get on. I felt like a side zip would have really helped get the dress over my 36c bust. But once it was on I think looked nice on my hour glass figure, but there was wierd pleating/gathering in the back of the dress that made it hug my hips/butt and make them look huge. So I returend it.

I order this in a 6 and usually that is a perfect fit in Boden, but this ran large. They shape is nice, but as I ordered several dresses at the same time, and this didn't fit well and was a shiny material that I hadn't expected, I will return. But I do think it would be flattering in a smaller size.
