I am the mother of a very tall, developing 10 year old (5' tall, 80 lbs.). I ordered the peach-pink ruffle top in size 13-14. It's a little big but previous orders indicated that size 11-12 was a close fit for her with no room for growth. We are in a bit of an awkward phase. I've been looking for tops that cover the breast buds (too big for thin tees but not quite ready for a bra) and this top fits the bill perfectly. Great on its own or under the cardigan (I bought the gray one with stars on it). Very sweet and my daughter feels comfortable in it.

I bought this for my daughter who is 12. She is fairly tall at 5'7" and slim. The top is true to size and looks great on her. We are planning on using this for vacation so it needs to be able to go casual during the day and be dressed up for dinner and evening events...we think this tops hits the mark perfectly! Only wishing she was more willing to share with mom! :)

My daughter picked this out in the pink color. It is very cute and stylish, but I think it runs small. She has a wee bit of a chest and there's no room for growth--and that's in the 15/16 years. But it fits for now and will be cute in the fall with the star cardigan like pictured. we just probably wont get more than 1 season out of it! Plus her school doesn't allow any bare shoulders so no wearing it to school until cooler weather :( still a very cute top!

This is my first Johnnie B purchase for my 9 year old daughter. She is starting to want pieces that are pretty but not young looking. When she saw this top online she loved it and when I saw it on her in person today, so did I! The fit is slim not boxy and it will be cute with jeans, a jean skirt, shorts etc.,
