This is the second pair of silver, ballet flats that we have purchased from Mini Boden for daughter. They are very pretty and work with a variety of outfits. Our daughter loves them!

My 6-year-old daughter has not worn these yet, but they are lovely in silver metallic. She is between a 31 & 32 in European sizes, depending on the brand and the shoe; I got these in a 32 based on other reviews saying they ran small, but they are too large for her at the moment. Will keep for the future, as I got them on sale and feel they're worth what I paid.

These shoes are GREAT quality, and my granddaughter says are very comfortable, the color is just right for the dress I bought for her to wear them with. She loves them and is getting a lot of use out of them. They can be worn year round - GREAT value.

I got these ballet flats in sliver for my 4 year old daughter. I ordered a larger size for her to wear later in the year, so I cannot attest to their comfort. But, my daughter did get a little peak at the shoes, and she immediately took a liking to them and wanted to wear them right away.

I bought these for my almost 3 year old because, even at this age, she seems to have a preference for ballet flats over almost anything else i buy her. Part of her preference I think is her ability to easily put them on and take them off on her own. (The other part is girlyness I think)

These shoes however, are impossible for a toddler to put on or even take off on their own. Their shape (or lack thereof) does not make for an easy slip-on, slip off type of shoe. You have to use a finger to fit it in through the back due to the elastic which is more motor skills required than my child can manage without help. (She tried though, the dear :)

While this may make for a great fit for adults and older kids, it's a major frustration for a toddler.

I was also very disappointed in how narrow the shoes are. They are definitely not made for feet that still have some baby fat in them. They have Zero arch support. Again a fail for a toddler. The sole is made of plastic and has almost no traction (i.e. they are slippery) another fail.

I'd say if you were buying these for a younger child, don't. The leather is high quality, they are very cute, my daughter liked them and they seem well made but they have got to be the most impractical shoes I have ever bought for my child.
I have to say if i had examined these in a store I would have passed on them. They would make a pretty shoe for an older kid but I still wouldn't pay the MSRP even in that situation due to the lack of features mentioned above for the price.

Boden makes awesome clothing but I think I'll stick to UMI, Primigi, See kai run, Livie and Luca etc for kids' shoes.

These will be going back.

These are beautiful ballet flats for my daughter. She was so excited to receive them and wanted to wear them as soon as we opened the box. I hope to get lots of use out of them for the spring and early fall.

I bought a pair of these for both my daughter and myself. I usually can't wear flats very well, for some reason these are quite comfortable. They are beautiful like a much more expensive shoe. Love the colors!
