I let my 3 yr old pick out one outfit to buy, since he always gets his brother's hand me downs. He picked out these shorts, which I thought would be a good choice for a 3 yr old. Not too long in the legs, drawstring, soft cotton. But the good stops there. They definitely run a size small. He will outgrow them before we even get summer weather. The color choice seems poor for a little boy....off white is the main color on the backside, and after only one wear, he already has fading and it looks a bit dirty on the backside where he sits. He loves them so much that I kept them, but I would not buy them again. Such a disappointment because I have loved purchasing the same style in years past. These are just too thin, too white, too small.
