The soft fabric would've made this very comfy to wear but unfortunately it was too low cut and you could see my cleavage. Normally, I'd throw on a camisole but bc the fabric is so thin and silky, you'd see the hem and any bunchy-ness of the camisole underneath. Might work for someone with a small chest.

I wrote an earlier 5-star review for this kimono dress; I had only glowing comments! I even stated that I was ordering it in another color, I loved it so much. The one I loved was the orange/green pattern (absolutely gorgeous in person). I ordered the blue with red trim ... and just got it yesterday. I was so excited. However, the blue kimono dress was drab. It actually looked and hung like a pajama nightgown. And the "red" trim wasn't red, but pink ... not nearly as eye-catching as it appears in the photo. Thus ... For me, the difference between 5 stars and 2 stars was all in the color choice. For some reason, the patterned dress hid all flaws and bumps, but they were more conspicuous in the solid blue. The blue one went back, and I felt the need to review the "same" dress twice. I still believe the patterned kimono dress will be one of my favorites, ever (!)

I love the Kimono style, sleeves to cover and empire to help hide tummy. Wish it was in slightly heavier fabric or I would have given 5 stars. PLease make this for winter or fall in a ottoman knit, or light weight wool, or challis. The design is amazing and really needs to be brought back in a different weight fabric. Boden is spot on with some of the dress designs conquering many of our mid life body issues. I like to hide the back fat,cover the upper arms, conceal the not so flat tummy and keep my bust looking sexy but not to revealing. I know thats a lot to ask in a single dress but its been done. It really is amazing how many body types there are and yet Boden can make it work most of the time for everyone. Gotta love that.

WOW. Wow. Wow. and WOW!! Don't know where to start. I now own about 10 Boden dresses (20+ skirts, etc., am addicted) ... and this one is the best, for its category. I generally prefer a liner, which this doesn't have, so I was skeptical, but ordered based on the positive reviews. HOLY SMOKES. Fits like a glove, absolutely dreamy fabric flow/lay. The jersey is heavy enough that no panty lines are visible and manages to conceal lumps and bumps. Astonishing, "magical" dress. The neckline dips a little low, but I am high-busted. Could wear a cami underneat for more conservative purposes, but not necessary. I ordered the greenish/orangish floral print, and just drool over it (and wasn't too excited by the pics). My husband's jaw dropped. The sleeves are exquisite -flowy but still classy. I keep it hanging out, just to stare at it :) PLUS I got on sale! Needless to say, I ordered it in 2 more colors. Nab it while it's here, ladies. (I am ~132, 5'7", w hips, normally a Boden 6, sometimes a 4 in dresses. I ordered a "4" which fit perfectly, so you may want to consider sizing down.)

I love this dress. I am 5'10", and slender, but not without flaws! I have five children, and don't have hours to get ready. THis dress is perfect for Sundays or special occasions. I ordered the 8 long, and it hits a bit below my knee!!! Hooray! It is super flattering, and comfy at the same time. I can't wait to wear it with my tall boots! Thank you Boden! (It does need a little cami underneath unless you are comfortable with cleavage.

At 6 feet tall I have a hard time with dresses fitting in the right places so I have shied away from ordering them. I decided to take a chance since this was on sale & this dress is PERFECT. Stylish, comfortable,flattering, perfect for work or going out on the weekend. Thanks Boden for offering tall sizes. :) Looks like I'm hooked.

I love this dress. I wore it work last week and I'm wondering when I can wear it in the office again... is the next week too soon?? I love this dress, I ordered the stone print, but I don't care for the other colors otherwise I would have bought another. It's so comfortable. I wore a cami under b/c the v is a little low. I'm 5 11, 160lbs, curvy, ordered the size 8 and it was perfect.

I really love how this dress fits me. I am 5' 10" and ordered the 8L. It fits like it was made for my frame. However, the airforce fun color is a little too bright for my taste. It seems brighter than the photo to me. (And I love prints and bright colors.) I am exchanging it for a solid color. Fortunately, it's still available. One important note, it is a little low cut. I think that it will be okay, given my height. However, it is something others may want to consider.

Dress fit great and got tons of compliments. So comfortable and washes up perfectly. Great for the summer as it is perfect weight but doesn't look super casual. Looks a little more dressy.
