We bought the tall dark leather boots, and my 7 y.o. daughter loves them. They are super cute, and very comfortable. But, within a few days, the toes were pretty scuffed. Not a huge deal, but the worn out heels a couple of months in are. They are actually splitting horizontally, and there will be damp in there before too long. Yes, my daughter wears them almost every day but at the steep price tag I'd like to think they'd have lasted more than a few months.

The Size chart is misleading. Despite the advice of other size guides on the net, I followed Boden's and I purchased size 29, which is supposed to have an 8 1/4" sole length. The actual size 29 boot measures 8" on the bottom of the boot sole but 7 3/8" on the bottom of the child's foot, not 8 1/4", almost an inch difference. To speed things up I just ordered again, a size 33 (at this point, at an inappropriate cost for a child). Beautiful boots though. I know my granddaughter will love them whenever they arrive.

These boots are the perfect fit and height. I ordered the 39 and they are a great fit. They look great with jeans and the zipper is really fun in purple. What a wonderful addition to my casual wardrobe.

These boots are great! My 7.5 year old loves them. We got the yellow and it's not a crazy bright yellow, more of muted fun yellow that goes with lots of clothing colors. They fit perfectly and she wears them with jeans or skirts anything!

These boots were a wonderful purchase. My 9 year old daughter who is very choosy about her footwear, really about all her clothes!, loves these boots. She put them on and had not one reservation about telling me how much she loved them. I was thrilled. She only commented on their height- they aren't very tall boots, but that didn't bother her.

So I would definitely recommend these. We got the brown leather. My only concern is that the exposed zipper might allow moisture in, but that remains to be seen. One of our best Boden purchases to date.

This boot could not have fit more perfectly. I have the navy blue suede. I wear a Youth 6 in UGGS and a woman's 8-8.5 in other shoes, but my foot is very narrow so these boots in a 39 were a gift from above! Perfection, and although I really shouldn't, I am going to order another pair in brown.

My 12 year old daughter wears a 37.5 in girls footwear and so we ordered the red boot in size 38, assuming it would be just a little big for her foot, however the boots were absolutely huge, in fact I always wear a 38 and the boots were two sizes too big for me!

We sent the boots back, asking for a size 36 in return, however Boden sent out another 38 and now they are out of size 36 in red and said they won't be getting any more in - I have one very sad child. :(

Two years ago I bought the brown leather zip up boots for my daughter (in size 36) and she wore them daily until she outgrew them. They were a great boot and we were hoping the red suede ones would be the perfect replacement, but the sizing issues have put a stop to that.

I have a pair of flat Mini Boden boots that I bought for myself a few years ago and that I adore. I was hoping I'd love these just as much. The leather is lovely and the inside lining cozy, and I loved the contrasting zipper detail - very stylish. But on me the boots seemed heavy and clunky, and something about the shape and cut made me look stumpy. I think they'd be adorable on a little girl, though, and on sale I thought they were good value.
